I have it on good authority (my own imagination, that is) that next year's Sony blockbuster is going to be about an attempt by the Poor Man to assassinate Good King W. Or was - they'll certainly pull the idea once they read this post.

Rog - Z has done for me what I dared not do ... And you trumped yourself on Mike's blog.

Sue - watch this space... I never refuse a challenge, though I might sometimes swerve around it.

Z - thank you, m'dear, for helping to handle Mr P. Incidentally, I hope you spotted the attempted PGW tribute/parody. She lived close by to Tiny Tim, prime spot, mountain views and forest walks on the doorstep. Aggie had disapproved for years of her brother's political shenanigans (being a mother superior) and he had not seen her. But during his visit he was able to persuade her that he really was a good king after all and it all ended happily; the king even helped Aggie thaw out her frozen fountain. The good old king eventually returned (once the snow had dinted to almost nothing and the sod had heated up) back to the castle, from whence, at last, he had come.Richard WalkLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12306430776956627549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7767918086420070312.post-83764011543982480912014-12-15T19:16:50.851+00:002014-12-15T19:16:50.851+00:00This comment has been removed by the author.Richard WalkLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12306430776956627549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7767918086420070312.post-21623185341174934692014-12-15T13:15:09.507+00:002014-12-15T13:15:09.507+00:00A heartwarming story.
