Links to Spotify always make the programme crash on my computer, so I don't know which track you were recommending. I'll have to listen to the whole album then. Thanks, I'm enjoying it.
Oh dear. Everything crashes, my AVG security system utters Delphic warnings. And I can't use Mig's YouTube link without coming out of here, so I may be back...
Now listened to the CD all the way through. Sheer joy, took me back to the pure jazz days of the fifties, before it got perverted by the likes of Acker Bilk and Kenny Ball. I may blog on this theme tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteWell, it was the very different take on 'Layla' (track 2 I think) that caught my ear. I'll probably go and buy the CD tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteSpotify won't do it for me either but I found a youtube link.
ReplyDeleteVery nice indeed.
Just finished listening to the album. I wondered if it was 'Layla', certainly a very different take, but it worked.
