THINK! to end all THINK!s

I collect THINK!s, those bits of mind-numbingly patronising advice that appear occasionally on information signs along the roads I frequent (yesterday I was asked to consider whether I could have gone to fill the car with petrol on my bike), but the following, spotted just now in Shinfield Road, Reading, has spoilt the game for me.  Are you ready?

"THINK!  LOOK OUT FOR OTHER ROAD USERS."

You can't surpass perfection, can you?

  1. Wow! I'll remember that. "Look out for other road users".....yes. Makes sense, doesn't it? Thanks so much for the tip, Tim.

  4. Like the packet of peanuts on which was a warning - "this product may contain...." No I can't say it. You'll have to guess. No it wasn't road users.

  6. I'd never have thought of that.
    A revolutionary concept.
But hang on, how can one text if one is having to do that? It just wouldn't be practical.
    No, it'll never catch on.

  7. A Wogan phone-in I remember from years ago (I paraphrase): "I was in the fast lane and this bloke passed me on the left. He was phoning with one hand, eating a sandwich with the other and steering with his knees! I was so amazed I dropped my coffee."
